RYLA

Introduction : We have a structured RYLA programme for young minds, at Rotary. We have been conducting mega RYLA programs for Government school children through the clubs every year, in the months of July, August and September. In the last few years this program has been conducted, it has been highly successful and well appreciated by the children and the schools.

Proposal : We would like to reach out to around 50000 children in and around Whitefield. In this context we seek volunteers who would like to be the trainers for the mega RYLA programs. If we can do this event on a single day, we could enter Guinness Book of World Records. To accomplish this, we would need 1500 trainers.

Rotary also runs a Train the Trainer programme, which is approx. 4 hours training programme.

Action Requested : Please let us know if you could participate as a corporate to support this event, by nominating your employees for (1) Train the Trainer programme and the same employees for (2) Conducting RYLA. If yes, please share your intent using the form below. This is applicable for organizations as well.

Timeline : September is the youth month. So, we plan to do this event on 4th Saturday of September, I.e. 24th Sep.
