Our Focus

As a service organization, we reach out, take action, involve both corporates and the community to serve the needy.

Prevention of Diseases

Rotary has disease prevention as a major goal. Eradication of polio has been one of the most successful initiatives. We conduct health camps, blood and stem cell donation activities, provide support in eye and heart checkups and surgeries.

Clean Water and Sanitation

Providing access to clean water and means of hygenic sanitation comprised of our major projects in the recent past. Installation of water ATMs, deployment of e-Toilets, in schools and community got support from corporates and members.

Basic Education & Literacy

Literacy has been a key focus area for our activities. These included programs for train the teachers, leadership programs, providing computers to schools, distribution of dictionaries, notebooks, stationery and atlases under T.E.A.C.H program.

Community Development

We assist in community development programs so as to empower the women and needy to build a steady income for themselves and for the household. Our tieups with GreenSole and GreenBug contributed.

International Blood Day 14th June

On the occasion of the International Blood Day, RBWC wishes to thank all the donors, employees, corporates, hospitals , doctors, paramedical staff and members of RBWC and other Rotary clubs for being an integral part of our blood donation camp drives.

We also humbly announce that Rotary in Bangalore has been meeting more than 30% of Bangalore’s blood requirements

Spreading smiles and a new lease of life

RBWC contributed to over 60+ surgeries with the Needy Heart foundation where donations were made by club members and also collected through various connections for free heart surgery for poor and needy children. This was an achievement well recognized and appreciated by District 3190. Our member who was at the helm of this initiative was Rtn. R N Sharma.
