Rotary Bangalore Whitefield Central plans to put a kiosk at weekends starting 26th May at Inorbit Mall in partnership with Inorbit to spread awareness about the hazards of using plastic bags. They would also facilitate use of reusable cloth bags (made by under privileged women) by making it available at cost-basis at the kiosk, to visitors to enable them to carry and use such bags instead of plastic, and Save Environment. This is a part of Championing Plastic Free Whitefield campaign by Rotary Bangalore Whitefield Central in lieu of the upcoming World Environment Day falling on June 5th
