5 of our Interactors from Interact Club of Shishu Mandir – Nithish, Shashi, Naveen, Syed Sahil and Karthik – participated at the prestigious Toyota Safety Education Programme – National Level under the category Class 9 project/Skit, held at Bal Gandharv Rang Mandir, Bandra, Mumbai on 22nd Feb., 2020. The event had participants from three cities – Delhi, Mumbai and Bangalore selected from 30,000 students. They earlier participated at state level and got selected to represent  Bangalore and won the second prize at National level.

The programme was introduced to the students as well as sponsored by KPMG and this gave them opportunity for the students to have the experience of a flight for the first time.

They were trained by the teachers and volunteers of Shishu Mandir. The Safety Quest conducted by  Arundhati Foundation, led by Dr. Shubhangi and Sanjay Tambwekar, was mainly responsible to get the Interactors awareness and expsosure to road safety.

The Toyota Safety Education program is conducted by CSR wing of Toyota and provides a platform of immense exposure to the students. The program was initiated in 2007 and has trained 7 lakh+ students so far.
