Conservation of Water at Home

Our speaker for the weekly meeting was Rtn. John Daniel, President of Rotary Club of Kalyan. As a commerce graduate who was into marketing and logistics, he has always been passionate about environment. He attributes that towards his family from agriculture background. Incidentally he had to move from water rich place to water scarce city for college education and livelihood thereafter. This became the turning point and made finally choose his vocation in environment friendly solutions.

He provides rainwater harvesting consulting and solution to residential and commercial buildings and complexes alike. He spoke about the myths prevailing in terms of environment being spelt, water table became lower, etc. It was quite interesting and he also provided various tips on how effectively both apartment dwellers as well as independent home dwellers can conserve water.
